Chris Gardner - Veterinary Surgeon
Chris graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 1995. After 18 months in mixed practice he has worked purely in small animal practice. He has an interest in exotics including reptiles and birds, having kept a variety of reptiles in the past and having his own falcons and hawks at home. In his spare time he practice falconry with his German Short Haired Pointer 'Tansy' and spends his weekends working at home on his small holding with his two children.
Jenny Lailey - Veterinary Surgeon
Sarah McIntosh - Veterinary Surgeon
Sarah graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2003. She has worked in mixed practice and even had a small stint working as a cattle vet in New Zealand before choosing to work solely with small animals 5 years ago. After completing a course in acupuncture she is now able to offer our clients this service two days a week at our Truro surgery. She has two young children at home and a Border Terrier called Ted that she rescued. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, photography and scuba diving.
Caz Lucy - Qualified Veterinary Nurse
Caz joined us in 2009 as a qualified veterinary nurse. She currently works part time, spending the rest of her time looking after her 18 month old daughter, Merryn, and her 2 year old Labrador, Rain. She also has an intrest in alternative therapy (people not pets!) including aromatherapy and reflexology.
Katie Carpenter - Registered Veterinary Nurse
Katie is a registered veterinary nurse and a clinical coach. She has been nursing at our practice for four years. Her main responisbility is training the student nurses which keeps her very busy! She has an 18 month old daughter called Lacey and a four year old Jack Russell Terrier called Tinkerbell who keep her active outside of work.
Bryony Lyon - Registered Veterinary Nurse
Bryony started working at St.Clements in January 2006 and has now qualified as a veterinary nurse. She has a three year old daughter called Rita, a cross breed called Maisy and a Springer Spaniel cross called JD
Heather Wilson - Registered Veterinary Nurse
Heather graduated in 2006 but then changed her career choice to veterinary and started to work with us in 2009. She has recently passed her final nursing exams and is now a registered veterinary nurse. In her spare time Heather rides her horse, surfs, kayaks and walks her beatiful hungarian visla, Isla.
Nicky Kinney - Qualified Veterinary Nurse
Nicky has been working with us since 2008, first as a saturday girl and then progressing on to do her nurse training. She has just completed her third year of the Foundation degree and will soon become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. At home she has a Springer Spaniel cross Cocker Spaniel called Robyn who she does agility training with.
Toni Cobbett - Student Nurse
Toni has been at the practice since December 2010 and started her training in September 2011. She has already completed her Diploma in animal management at Duchy college and will be qualifying as a nurse in 2013. She works part time at our Truro branch and part time at our Perranporth branch. Toni also has a strong intrest in rehoming animals and has a Springer spaniel called Zennor and a Husky called Po.
Christine Alexander - Receptionist/Admin
Bev Northey - Receptionist (St.Agnes)
Bev now works at our St.Agnes branch, having worked at Perranporth in the past. She brings her trusty lurchers Bok and Danny to work with her who help her out by having a good kip! Bev, Danny and Bok take part in dog agility competitions and she also enjoys endurance horse riding. At home she also has a couoke of cats to keep the dogs in line!
Laura Knight - Student Veterinary Nurse (Truro and Perranporth)
Laura has worked as a receptionist at our Perranporth branch, progressing on to workl at our Truro surgery as a Student Veterinary Nurse. She has completed her Advance National Diploma in animal care at Duchy College and has just begun her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing staruting in September 2013. In her spare time she enjoys walks on the beach with her labrador cross, Lottie.

Kate Tarrant - Student Veterinary Nurse
Kate has been working with us since 2009 when she started voulentering to complete her Duke of Edinburgh bronze award. She then continued to work with us as a saturday girl, progressing on to complete her Diploma in animal management and now she has begun studying for her Foundation Degree in Veterinary Nursing. At home Kate has a West Highland White Terrier, called Tina, who she does agility training with and a five year old guinea pig called Mia.
Sam Job - Student Veterinary Nurse
